Tell me a little bit about your wonderful business Dove Country Lifestyle ….
We sell Home, Lifestyle Gifts and Accessories in the beautiful Cotswold Town of Chipping Campden. We try to cater for both visitors and locals alike with a wide and varied range of carefully selected items.

And about you…
I’m Lisa, wife and mother to four children and two dogs, loving life living in a beautiful Cotswold village of building our business in nearby Chipping Campden.

What is the story behind Dove Country Lifestyle?
Having moved to the Cotswolds in 2019 I would never have thought at the time that we would be establishing our own business in Chipping Campden, a mere two years later. When my work in Events and Hospitality was completely wiped out due to Covid, and whilst contemplating the next step, we walked past the window of Hook House, our current premises in Chipping Campden High Street and noticed a sign indicating potential availability. One thing led to another and it just seemed everything fell into place at the right time. Before we knew it and after a few sleepless nights we were signing a long term lease, during lockdown! That was when the hard work really began

What is your favourite part of being a part of a family run business?
I love the flexibility of being my own boss and the satisfaction in building a business of my own.

What inspires you in your day-to-day life?
In my working life I love sourcing new and different products as well as developing a range of our own. The chance to meet and help so many people from all over the world is really fascinating.

Tell me your favourite places to go in the Cotswolds!
In the Summer the garden of the The Kings Arms, in Mickleton with an Aperol Spritz. I love all the local towns, Broadway, Chipping Campden, Stratford Upon Avon. Oh and Victors on Chipping Campden, High Street for a great Bacon sandwich.
